Selsius will host a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Certification course beginning July 27, 2010.
The course, directed by a GE Master Black Belt trainer, will include 10
days of training during the months of August, September and October. Students will effectively apply Lean Six
Sigma tools to solve real-time business issues and demonstrate application of
DMAIC to a live, on-the-job problem.
- Kick-off Event: July 27, 2010 for Champions and Green Belt
students. Agenda includes introduction,
project chartering, team formation, and checklists for student work.
- Teleconference with Master Black Belt and
steering committee to identify Green Belt projects.
- 10 days of training includes kick-off event in
July followed by three-day blocks of training August 24-26, September 21-23,
and October 19-21, 2010.
- All classes held on the campus at SWIC.
During the training, each participant will
receive 4 hours of one-on-one phone coaching and support from the Master Black
Belt outside of class. Personal
laptops required
Each participant will need Minitab software
loaded on their personal laptop for class work and project work between classes. Approximate
cost of Mini-tab is $400. Selsius will help
you contact a Minitab provider to receive this discounted price. The laptop and software are not included in
the price of the class.
Class includes teleconference for project
selection, all training, training materials (with the exception of laptops and
software) and one-on-one phone coaching support.
Manufacturing companies may be eligible for
reduced enrollment fees via grant funding.
